There are many songs in working stages, but the guys want to take their time and explore new sonic territories. At this moment it is not yet clear who will be producing the follow up album to "tribute to the great outdoors", but it probably won't be Gelbart, as the Lonesomes are rumored to be shopping around for some bigger (and more talented) names. There are also plans to move Moo-Zik studios to Germany... We'll keep you posted! --- October 04 Some good reading --- Here's a wonderful 1 star review of Tribute to the great outdoors from the AltCountryTab site - really not to be missed! (sample quote: "It’s not alt, it’s not country, it’s barely music and it’s absolutely no good whatsoever".) --- August 04 New song premiered at Gelbart's show --- Cindy Snow showed up for a guest performance at Gelbart's show last week. The first song they did was Waking up the cows which started with Cindy singing acapella and Gelbart joining in on guitar and synths, then Gelbart played Filp'em Grill'em and the show ended with a song called The international cow anthem. Judging from this song, it is safe to say that the Lonesomes are exploring new directions for their next studio effort. Watch this spot for video excerpts from the show - coming soon. --- May 04 Gameboy remix --- The band's manager - Gelbart - who is also a part time electronic musician has made a gameboy version of the hit song Waking up the cows. You can download it on the sounds page or from here directly by clicking this yellow underlined text. --- February 04 Happy birthday Cindy --- Valentine's day also marks the date of beautiful Cindy's birthday. Go on and try it! --- September 03 Jeff's birthday --- Today (28/9) the Lonesomes celebrated Jeff's birthday with a dinner at Flaafy Burgers. The guys all chipped in and bought him a lap steel guitar. The album is also available for purchase online here. --- July 03 The master is finally ready --- After many hectic mastering sessions, the album is finally closed and ready for the pressing factory.
