Though commonly referred to as the band leader, Jeff Lonesome insists that the power of the Lonesomes is the result of a group effort. Jeff picked up the guitar when he was 5, and has since developed his own original approach, which is both moving and innovative. Bluegrass, western swing, country blues - this lonesome cow can play it all!
Prior to the Lonesomes he wrote and recorded hours of original solo guitar music, but was never confident enough to release any of his works to the public. That is until the Lonesomes were formed.
Instead of flashing an army of guitars, Jeff has reduced his collection to a single custom made red axe which was built by a chicken friend. Besides this guitar and his double-bass, he also hopes to get his hands on a nice steel guitar - hopefully he'll be able to afford it if the record sells well.
